Q. What is a "preferred" provider?
A.
A preferred provider is a doctor or other healthcare professional who has agreed to be a part of 
     a network such as NPPN in exchange for predetermined rates for their services.

Q. How do I find out information about my coverage?
A.
Benefit information can be obtained by calling your insurance provider. You can find contact
     information on the back of your insurance card.

Q. Is NPPN my insurance company?
A.
No. NPPN is a Preferred Provider Network (PPO) that works with your insurance company. 

Q. How do I get a copy of the directory?  
A.
You can use our online provider directory by clicking on the PROVIDER LOOK UP button.  From
     this option you have access to thousands of providers.  The online directory can be sorted
     and printed by zip code, specialty and distance from your location.

Q. What if my doctor is not in the NPPN online directory?
A.
You may refer your physician to become part of NPPN by going to our Provider Nomination
     page. 

Q. How do I get a copy of my ID card?
A.
Your insurance company can provide you a copy of your ID card.
